Performance
The RAM REV, scheduled to arrive in Canada in 2026, offers breathtaking performance. The powerful electric powertrain delivers 663 horsepower and 615 lb-ft of torque, allowing for 0-100 km/h accelerations completed in as little as 4.4 seconds.
In short, the new Dodge RAM REV will be powered by two robust 400-volt electric drive modules and a 92-kWh battery. The 2027 REV will boast a range of 1,110 km, making it an electric truck with a range that is difficult to compete with.
Moreover, beyond the battery pack, the 2026-2027 Dodge RAM electric will be paired with a 3.6 L V6 engine that powers an integrated 130 kW alternator. Additionally, up to 80 kilometres of full electric range can be recovered in just 10 minutes using direct current 400 V fast charging (with a maximum power of 145 kW).
Since there is no mechanical connection between the V6 engine and the wheels, this truck is not considered a plug-in hybrid in the strict sense, even though it utilizes an internal combustion engine.
The charging port is located on the front guard panel on the driver's side. When the vehicle is plugged in, the RAM logo flashes to indicate the charging status, and once fully charged, an audible signal alerts the user. The charging port supports Level 1 and Level 2 AC charging on its upper section and fast DC charging on the lower section of the charger.
Finally, towing capabilities can reach up to 14,000 lb. (6,350 kg) while maximum payload reaches 2,600 lb. (1,179 kg).
RAM REV: Design and Interior
The word “bold” is barely strong enough to describe the RAM REV’s interior and exterior design, which will surely be receiving several prizes for its stunning look.
The front portion of the vehicle boasts a unique light signature: the fork-shaped headlights are splendid, and the illuminated RAM logo contributes to a stunning luminous effect. At the rear, the taillights are also stylised and so is the RAM logo placed at the very center of the trunk.
Although we still do not have all of the details regarding the RAM REV, it seems to be equipped with large tires.
Interior fit and finishes have been selected with care and so have the materials found throughout; this is especially true when it comes to the Tungsten trim. This luxurious trim level offers, among other things, comfortable 24- way power seats with memory and massage functions (optional).
