In 2023, the Jeep Cherokee offered two efficient powertrain options:
- 2.0 L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produced 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque.
- 3.2 L V6 engine that delivered 271 horsepower and 239 lb-ft of torque.
For 2026, the Jeep Cherokee will be equipped with a 1.6 L turbo 4-cylinder engine paired with an electric motor. This hybrid (HEV) setup produces 210 horsepower and 230 lb-ft of torque.
The sixth-generation SUV is primarily a 4x4 with low fuel consumption. Combined fuel consumption is as low as 6.4 L/100 km, with an estimated range of 805 km on a single tank.
